My Journey to Financial Freedom and Empowerment
Growing up, I was never taught how to handle money. Instead, I witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of financial mismanagement—arguments, bankruptcy, and repossessions. These experiences left a lasting impact on me.
A little over 25 years ago I saw a flyer on my car: “Change Your Life Run a Marathon.” Well, I did it and it changed my life. I knew I didn’t want it to stop there, I wanted to continue to build a healthy lifestyle. Then about 20 years ago I stumbled upon the concept of financial freedom. So, I took the discipline I learned from being a runner and applied it to my finances, paying off the debt and developing healthy money habits and behaviors for financial empowerment.
I discovered my passion for helping others on their own financial journeys. Becoming a financial coach, I applied what I knew about the having the right fuel and water to complete a race and transferring that knowledge to finances.
Now, I devote my time and energy to helping everyday athletes in healing their relationship with money, transforming their money mindset, and building healthy money habits and behaviors. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience financial freedom, and through my coaching, I empower individuals to take control of their financial destinies.
